Oxfords

Finally the cold weather is slowly saying goodbye to us. Don't get me wrong, I love the winter season and layering jumpers, coats and scarves. But after 4-5 months, I'm getting tired of bundling up each time I have to go out. Few days ago, I realized that I can actually go outside without wearing thick knit jumpers, scarves and boots anymore! I love my Doc Martens but it was time to put them back in the box and start giving love to my new babies!

All of the pieces from ZARA

New Year

Happy new year everyone!
The first day of 365 is about to end! What can I say? The past year has been such a roller coaster with lots of happy moments and bitter ones. Nonetheless I'm still grateful for everything that happened to me in 2013 and thankful for all the lessons I've learned: during the past year I've noticed how many things have changed and are still changing, how people change and how others will always show you how really important you are for them; I've learned that from negative things that happen to us, something bigger and better will come. The past year has definitely been a challenge!
Usually I kinda have resolutions for the new year though I never achieve any of them, but this year I don't. I just wanna keep doing what I'm doing and don't stress too much about the future and the people around me. All I want to do is enjoy the present and always think how blessed I already am to have what I have today. I guess the only resolution for this 2014 is to be a better me, even if it means conquering challenges and challenges. I know there's somebody right up who has a plan for me. Again... Happy new Year!

For the New Year's Eve, even though I've spent it only at home with my family I wanted to dress up appropriately for the event! My hair and make up turned out pretty well! As soon as I edit my get ready with me video, I'm going to definitely show it to you.
Unfortunately I don't have a full outfit shot, but this what I wore
yesterday:

Laze Dress - ZARA
Cardigan - Gift from Dubai
Shoes - Doc Martens

Meringue hot chocolate

It's still fall but already feels like winter with two degrees celsius outside.
My secret weapon to keep myself warm, other than cosy blankets and sweatshirts, is usually Mint Tea but once in a while a cup of Hot Chocolate doesn't hurt! I couldn't find any marshmallows around the house, so I improvised by adding meringues on top! They are actually pretty good on hot chocolates, I have to say. Since meringues are already sweet I didn't add any sugar in my cup. I left the meringues on top for few seconds and I stirred right before drinking it. Like the marshmallows, the meringues melt in your mouth!
Guys, you should definitely try it! Really... It's so good!

Quick outfit from yesterday with my current fave pair of jeans and jacket. I just seem to pull them out during the weekend! Who would have thought that this acid wash denim will become my fave?
I paired the denim and the jacket with a black pullover and a Peter Pan collar shirt underneath; and to change the make it look a little bit more dressy I decided to wear simple brown ankle boots.

See what I've done yesterday to start getting in the mood of Christmas! (Click here)

It's almost that time of the year!!!

My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas! I don't want to sound cliche, but xmas is for sure the time  to spend with your family and friends, being thankful for having each other and also the time to invite friends who might not have a family to share the holiday with! Though we must help people all year long, Christmas is definitely the time to give and receive! Receiving a gift is one of best feelings in the world but giving really makes people and me (you-us?) smile and heart melt: it's indescribable the feeling you get when you see your friend or you relative excited and thankful for what he/she has received!

I haven't put up my Christmas Tree yet! But I've already started to wrap few gifts!
Wrapping gifts are one of the moments I love during Christmas!
Today me and my family went out to the mall and me and my uncles (my lil' cousin's parents) secretly planned to buy him his long awaited Xbox + Kinect! When we got there, I quickly sneaked out from the group and got him the present! It was so sad, yet so funny how he was all sad when we left the store that sells Xbox-s! Little does he know that he will soon get his gift!
Since it is from his parents and I am just the parents/Santa's helper, along with it, he's also going to receive that Spider-man thing :P (which he couldn't at the Toys Center, but it was just on a shelf far too high for him to see it!).
I know for sure that he's going to be so happy on Christmas! He's such a good and lovely kid! He definitely deserves all these things! I am so excited to see him opening his gifts! Can't wait to see his reaction!
Being cosy in a house full of loved ones and food? Really, I'm so excited!
